High drama unfolded at the Wankhede Stadium during the 56th match of IPL 2025 between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans after Sai Kishore dropped a sitter to give Suryakumar Yadav a lifeline.
The moment occurred in the 5th over of MI’s innings. Prasidh Krishna bowled a back-of-length delivery which SKY flicked in the air toward mid-wicket. Sai Kishore was in position but made a mess of the opportunity, palming the ball over instead of holding on. The drop left Gujarat Titans head coach Ashish Nehra visibly frustrated near the dugout.
Adding to the intensity, GT skipper Shubman Gill was caught on camera shouting “f***” in clear disappointment, highlighting just how costly the missed chance could prove. The Titans were already under pressure after conceding 16 runs in Prasidh’s over, including a boundary on the very next ball by SKY.
