Gujarat Titans delivered a commanding batting performance as openers Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan stitched a 120-run partnership—the longest opening stand of IPL 2025—guiding their team to a competitive 180/6 against Lucknow Super Giants in Match 26 at the Ekana Stadium, Lucknow.
After winning the toss, LSG captain Rishabh Pant opted to bowl first. The decision proved costly early on as Gill and Sudharsan batted with poise and aggression. The duo not only protected their wickets in the powerplay but accelerated consistently, with Gill scoring 60 and Sudharsan adding 56 before they fell in back-to-back overs in the 12th and 13th.
This 120-run partnership marks their third 100+ stand together in the IPL, solidifying their position as one of the most consistent opening pairs for Gujarat. It surpasses all other opening stands in the 2025 season so far.
