With 4 wins in a row, Rajsthan were close to make it 5 before Rashid Khan finished off the game in style for Gujarat Titans. Despite the loss, their star performer Yuzvendra Chahal had another good day with the ball as he took 2 wickets in his 4 overs spell. However, he did concede 43 runs.
Yuzvendra Chahal with this performance has again at the top of the highest wicket taker’s list and have taken back the purple cap. He overtook CSK pacer Mustafizur Rahman who was earlier at the top with 9 wickets in 5 games. Chahal has already won the purple cap in IPL and it is possible that he wins it again this time. Rajasthan Royals’ spin attack is one of the best with South African’s Keshav Maharaj has also made it to the team.
With his consistent performance, the question remains is will Chahal be able to make his place in the Indian cricket team for the upcoming T20 World Cup this time or will have to sit out of the squad again.
