Chennai Super Kings new captain Ruturaj Gaikwad has spoken about his pressure he faces in the game. After MS Dhoni handed over the captaincy to Gaikwad, he is feeling the pressure of one thing and that is toss.
Ruturaj Gaikwad in the recent interview following Chennai Super Kings’ defeat against Punjab Kings in the IPL 2024 last night spoken about this pressure of toss. He is practicing tosses to win it before the game but still not able to find the right way.
As tosses are not in someone’s hand, but still CSK skipper feels that he can win tosses using the right spin technique. “I’ve practiced the tosses, it’s not going well in the match. And I am not sure what to do. To be truthful, I am under pressure when I go to the middle (for toss before the game),” said Ruturaj Gaikwad in the post-match interview, telecasted on Jio Cinema.
CSK are on 4th position in the points table and still needs 6 more points for the qualification. Their season is not going as per expectations of the fans. Despite winning first two games, they are stuck in the mid-table currently.
