With the IPL 2024 auction set to unfold at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on December 19, teams are gearing up with an enhanced budget of Rs. 100 crore, marking a significant increase from the previous year’s Rs. 95 crore.
As the league enters the concluding year of the three-year player contracts, anticipation builds for a mega-auction next year, promising an exciting reshuffle of talent. Adding to the intrigue, this edition of the IPL will witness a historic shift as the auction moves beyond Indian borders, choosing Dubai as its venue. The BCCI’s initial plan to host the auction in Istanbul was revised, with last year’s auction eventually taking place in Kochi.
