As the cricketing fraternity eagerly awaits the next edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), teams have officially disclosed their strategies for the player transfer window. The deadline, closing at 5 p.m. IST on November 26, prompted the official broadcaster to unveil the much-anticipated player list, beginning with insights into the decisions of the defending champions, the Chennai Super Kings, followed by other franchises.
While the transfer window remains accessible for seven days after the season’s conclusion until one week before the Player Auction, fans are gearing up for a significant event – the IPL auction scheduled at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai on December 19. This marks a historic shift as the auction ventures outside India for the first time. A noteworthy detail is that last year’s initial plan to host the auction in Istanbul saw a redirection, eventually taking place in Kochi.
