At the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai, the IPL 2024 Auction came to an end on Tuesday. The five-time champion Chennai Super Kings purchased six new players at the bidding, with Kiwis Rachin Ravindra and Daryl Mitchell being the main draws. The team captained by MS Dhoni will also feature the talents of Shardul Thakur, an all-rounder from India, who cost Rs. 4 crore, and Sameer Rizvi, an aggressive batsman from Uttar Pradesh who cost an astounding Rs. 8.40 crore.
CSK appears to have covered all bases and has an impressive depth in its batting order because to the abundance of all-rounders at its disposal. Deepak Chahar might bat as late as No. 10.
