Mumbai Indians’ bowling coach and former New Zealand fast bowler, Shane Bond, has expressed his intention to focus on enhancing Arjun Tendulkar’s pace.
Currently, Arjun’s bowling speed is around 130 kph, and he has played four IPL matches, claiming three wickets.
Following a rough performance against Punjab Kings where he conceded 48 runs, including 31 runs in a single over, the young Tendulkar made a remarkable comeback against Gujarat Titans, finishing the match with figures of 1/9 in two overs on Tuesday.
He did well, obviously after what happened in the last game. It’s never easy to step out onto the ground that is a Colosseum with a big crowd. We will work on increasing his pace, but he did all that was asked of him today – Bond said at the media conference.
