Rajasthan Royals defeated CSK by 3 runs in a thrilling encounter between the two on Wednesday at MCA stadium, Chennai. The game was indeed interesting. The last over thriller ended in the favour of the visitors. Sandeep Sharma was given the role by Sanju Samson in the last over to defend the total of 21 runs. Sandeep did well to defend it and thus was happy after the game. It was very difficult for the Indian pacer as he was against both the dangerous CSK batters in the crease namely MS Dhoni and Ravindra Jadeja.
Both of these batters were at the crease but couldn’t win it for CSK. Sandeep Sharma bowled well even after getting hit for two sixes in that over.
“I wanted to deliver yorkers in the last over. I was bowling good yorkers in the nets. The leg-side was big, but I missed my mark and bowled a couple of low full-tosses and both went for sixes. Then I changed my angle and it worked. I bowled over the wicket to Jadeja and I wanted to keep it away from his reach,” said Sandeep Sharma in the post match presentation as telecasted on Jio cinema.
