In the ongoing clash between Mumbai Indians and RCB, the visiting team’s middle order was collapsed, thanks to the fierce pace bowling by Reece Topley, Siraj and Akash Deep.
While the veteran T20 players – Surya Kumar Yadav and Tim David failed to score in the opening game for MI, the young duo of Tilak Varma and Nehal Wadhera claimed dominance.
Tilak Varma gets all the praise in the MI dressing room for tonight as the young batter fired up the innings and brought back MI in the game, which earlier looked one sided for Faf and company.
Tilak’s classical helicopter six ended the innings at 171 for 7 and with such great target to achieve in one of the what’s called – “short boundary line” stadium, Virat and Faf will open the innings.
The RCB management have decided to go all in as they send two of the very experienced batters for the home side.
On the other end, Mumbai Indians decide to substitute Surya Kumar Yadav and bring in Jason Behrendorff.
