Glenn Maxwell’s explosive innings in the IPL match against the Chennai Super Kings has once again proved his worth as a destructive batsman. In the 10th over of the second innings, Maxwell brought up his fifty in just 24 balls, hitting four boundaries and three sixes in the process.
The fourth boundary was a perfectly executed slice through backward point, beating the fielder to his left. It was evident from his body language that Maxwell was in complete control of his innings and was enjoying himself at the crease. His approach has been exemplary, and the way he has taken on the CSK bowlers has put RCB in a commanding position.
So far Maxwell has smashed 3 fours and 6 sixes.
