The auction will be held on December 23rd in Kochi. As it is a mini-auction so this will be a one-day session. Every team will have a single day to buy players as per their requirements.
Despite it being a mini-auction, some players can go very expensive and the teams can fight with each other to take them in their squad.
IPL 2023 Auction: Top 3 players each team would look to buy:
1. Sam Curran: The English all-round is the one player to watch out for in the auction. Sam Curran is expected to be the most expensive buy at IPL 2023 auction as every team would love to have an all-rounder like him who can bowl at any point in time and also bat at any number. Sam Curran’s base price in this mini-auction is 2 Crore.
2. Shakib Al Hasan: The Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is another all-rounder team that will look to buy in this year’s auction. After being unsold in the last season due to some reason, he is now available and high bids are expected for him this year as well.
3. Ben Stokes: The English T20I captain is one of the players to look for in the IPL auction. Ben Stokes won the recent T20 World Cup with the England cricket team beating Pakistan in the finals. The English all-rounder is all set to return to the Indian Premier League (IPL) after he was ruled out in the last one due to injury.
