Virat Kohli, the former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain, hammered 73 off 54 balls as RCB chased down a formidable 169-run total set by Gujarat Titans (GT) in 18.4 overs to keep their IPL 2022 play-off dreams alive. With 16 points, they are currently fourth in the points table.

Despite losing their 67th match of the season to Royal Challengers Bangalore, Gujarat Titans have already qualified for the playoffs and remain in first place in the points table. The Lucknow Super Giants, who are now in second place, became the second team to make the playoffs with 18 points.
RCB has surpassed Delhi Capitals and is now in fourth place.
