Rajat Patidar of Royal Challengers Bangalore now has highest percentage of team runs in the Indian Premier League 2022. Patidar is accountable for 28.8% of the RCB’s total runs this season.

Jos Buttler of the Rajasthan Royals has dropped to second place with 28.5 percent, while K L Rahul of the Lucknow Super Giants has dropped to third place with 25.6 percent.

Patidar made history by being the first uncapped player to make a century in the IPL playoffs with a 54-ball 112*. His innings also contributed to RCB’s match-winning total of 207 runs. Rajat Patidar ruled the Eden Gardens on Wednesday, when his magnificent 112 not out helped the Royal Challengers Bangalore beat the Lucknow Super Giants by 14 runs.

It takes a special kind of batter to overshadow his team’s big players and deliver such a knock in such a high-pressure circumstance in front of such a large crowd. But one of the major positive aspects for the 28-year-old Madhya Pradesh top-order batsman was that he stayed calm even after RCB lost former captain Virat Kohli and game-changer Glenn Maxwell in rapid succession. Faf du Plessis, the captain, got out in the opening over of the game.

Rajat Patidar’s innings against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) Eliminator will go down in IPL history as one of the best by a batsman.
