Ravindra Jadeja has been unfollowed by the Chennai Super Kings on their official Instagram account.
CSK skipper Ravindra Jadeja took over at the start of the season. CSK won two games when he was captain, while they lost six. Jadeja gave over the captaincy to MS Dhoni after being put under a great deal of pressure.
Jadeja did not take part in the recent match for CSK against Delhi Capitals on May 8, 2022 for the first time since stepping down as captain last month. The all-rounder has battled for form this season, scoring only 116 runs and taking only five wickets in ten games.
MS Dhoni, who was recently returned as captain, revealed that Jadeja was unable to play owing to fitness issues.
Jadeja has been a consistent player for CSK throughout the years.
While some fans claimed that CSK never followed the all-rounder on Instagram, others uploaded screenshots from when the team did follow him on the site, claiming that the unfollowing didn’t happen until a few weeks ago.
CSK is well-known for being active on all social media platforms. There might have been a motive for the franchise’s decision to stop following Jadeja, and more information is expected.
CSK just defeated Delhi Capitals by a tremendous score of 91 runs. In the next game, the four-time IPL winners will face the Mumbai Indians. They are presently ranked eighth in the points table.
They are maintaining their playoffs chances alive by winning games by large scores, yet not being declared out of the game.
