The Indian Premier League’s auction is all set to take place on 18 February 2021. The auctions will start from 3 pm and the list of the players who enrolled for the auctions is a little surprising. The players like Arjun Tendulkar and S Sreesanth are looking forward to getting picked by the franchises.
The senior players and a few experience holders of the cash-rich league are released by their franchise ahead of retentions. Kedar Jadhav and Harbhajan Singh are the experienced players of the IPL tournament and both were released by the Chennai Super Kings. The former captain of Rajasthan Royal, Steve Smith was also not retrained by the franchise.
These players enrolled themselves for the upcoming auctions of IPL on 18 Feb for a base price of 2 crores. The 2-crores base price list contains only two Indian names that are Harbhajan Singh and Kedar Jadhav. The other players who enlisted their name for the same base price are:
Steve Smith the former captain of Rajasthan Royals and the player of Australia, Colin Ingram, the South-African player released the Delhi Capitals. The Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib-Al-Hasan also enrolled for the 2-crores base price. The list contains a lot of England’s player names: Moeen Ali, Sam Billings, Liam Plunkett, Jason Roy, and Mark Wood. The big-name of Glenn Maxwell is also on the list.
