The Indian Premier League, also known as the cash-rich league is all set to be held in India. The 13th edition of IPL was held in a bio-secure environment of the United Arab Emirates. BCCI now looking forward to hosting the IPL in India itself.
After successfully hosting the Syed Mushtaq Ali Tournament, BCCI is all set to host the Vijay Hazare trophy and a tournament of women in the upcoming days. The leagues that are going to take place will be followed by the IPL.
BCCI also includes some new stadiums as the venue for IPL and can even host knockout matches. Sardar Patel Stadium which is located in Motera Ahmedabad is the first venue that will become part of the league. After 87 years this is the first instance when the Board of control for cricket in India has declared not to host Ranji Trophy, in place of Ranji they will be hosting a One-day tournament for Women and the Vijay Hazare Trophy while the Indian team is all set to face England in four Tests, three ODI, and five T20I.
