During first session of IPL 2021 Auction, RCB purchased dynamic Australian batsman Glenn Maxwell on a huge price of 14.25 Crore INR.
Both Royal Challengers Bangalore and Chennai Super Kings showed their interest in purchasing Maxwell. However, the intense bidding fight between RCB and CSK ended up with RCB grabbing Maxwell for this season of IPL.
Now, Glenn Maxwell himself reacted to this and tweeted, “Looking forward to joining @RCBTweets for this years @IPL Can’t wait to put everything I have in to helping us lift the trophy!”
