A lot of rumours around MS Dhoni’s retirement was doing the rounds. It was believed that CSK’s clash against KXIP might be captain cool’s last match with CSK. Ahead of the match, during the toss the skipper was asked about his plans and the answer will make many happy.
“Definitely not (when asked if it was his last game ever for CSK). They are under more pressure to win, we just want to turn up and keep fighting. I felt the boys did well to stay relevant, we want to put 100% into our game,” he told Danny Morrison.

CSK are playing their last match of the tournament as they won’t be making the playoffs for the first time in the history of the IPL. On the other hadn’t KXIP are playing a do or die match to keep their chances alive to qualify.
