Royal Challengers Bangalore lost a very crucial game against the Sunrisers Hyderabad by 5 wickets on Saturday evening at Sharjah. This now means that RCB have just one game remaining, in a do-or-die fixture with Delhi Capitals on Monday. However, RCB head coach Simon Katich still believes that his side are confident and claims that they could lift the IPL trophy in the next 3 matches.
In a post match press conference after the defeat to Sunrisers Hyderabad Katich said, “That makes sure to stay positive because of what’s in front of us now, Monday we win we guarantee a top 2 spot and we win again we get through to the final and we win again then trophy is ours.” Simon believes that it is key for his side to stay positive and take one game at a time in this crucial stage of the tournament.
