Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) on Thursday, 24th of September made their way to the top of the IPL 2020 points table after securing a 97-run win over Royal Challengers Banglore (RCB) at Dubai. As Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) lost the match, they got pushed back to the 6th position on the IPL 2020 Points Table.
Rohit Sharma captained Mumbai Indians (MI) stand at the second position, after their 49-run win against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), followed by Steve Smith’s Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the third position.
The fourth position in the IPL 2020 rank is taken up by Shreyas Iyer led Delhi Capitals (DC). Followed by MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the fifth position. The last two positions are taken up by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) respectively.

IPL 2020 began on September 19 and will be played till November 10. Like previous editions, each team will be awarded two points for a win and tie will be decided by the super overs.
