1. 212/6 vs Rajasthan Royals in 2010
Mumbai Indians scored 212 runs against Rajasthan Royals in the 2010 edition. With the IPL beginning in 2008, MI did not have the best initial two seasons but the third season saw them in the final. From 70/3 they reached this massive total. Rayudu and Saurabh Tiwary’s 110 run stand helped the team reach the big total. Mumbai Indians won the match by 4 runs.
2. 212/3 vs Delhi Capitals in 2017
The Rohit Sharma led team is known for having exciting batting line up. With intense depth in their batting order, there is always a pinch hitter for the side. In 2017, Mi played against DC in the ground stage and smashed 212 runs for just 3 wickets. Pollard hit a 35 ball 63 and created damage to DC’s bowling line up. Adding to DC’s pain, the team was left all out for pre 66 runs, making Mi win the game.
3. 213/6 vs Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2018
In 2018 when MI played against Virat Kohli led RCB, Rohit Sharma played one captain’s inning. Rohit also is known as the Hitman smashed 94 runs in just 52 balls taking the team’s total to 213. Along with the skipper, Even Lewis also hit a 42 ball 65. The bowlers were left in despair and MI looked unstoppable. Chasing a huge artier, RCB were reduced to 167/8 which meant MI winning the game by 46 runs.
4. 218/7 vs Delhi Capitals in 2010
Sachin Tendulkar has been one of the most iconic players that have played for MI. In the 2010 edition of the IPL, Sachin was somebody the oppositions feared. In a match against Delhi in that year, he smashed 63 runs in mere 32 balls that led MI to a huge total. Saurabh Tiwary also hit a 37 ball 61 to help in the big total. MI won the match with a huge margin of 98 runs.
5. 223/6 vs Kings XI Punjab in 2017
Mumbai Indians scored their highest total against Kings XI Punjab in 2017.even after the scoring a gigantic 223, the team needed to chase 231 for victory. Pollard scored a 24 ball 50 and opener Lendl Simmons scored 59. Rohit Sharma failure is rare but he managed to only score 5 runs in that match. Even though they ended on the losing side, it became the highest total by the team in the IPL.
