Mumbai Indians have won match 51 of the Dream11 IPL 2020 against the Delhi Capitals at Dubai in an emphatic fashion by 9 wickets. This victory also sees the defending champions confirm a top 2 spot for themselves this season.

MI went into the second innings having to chase a total of mere 111 runs in 20 overs owing to some fantastic performances from their bowlers. The opening partnership of 68 runs between Ishan Kishan and Quinton de Kock laid the perfect foundation for Mumbai to win the game comfortably. Kishan stayed unbeaten till the end taking his side home having scored 72 runs in just 47 balls. Suryakumar Yadav supported him as well by staying unbeaten at the end after De Kock’s wicket.

Anrich Nortje was the only bowler who picked up a wicket for Delhi as he dismissed his South African captain in Quinton de Kock. Rabada finished wicketless for a second game running which means that MI’s Jasprit Bumrah is now the purple cap holder for the most wickets in the tournament so far. Delhi Capitals have a must win game against the Royal Challengers Bangalore on Monday at Abu Dhabi if they want to qualify for the playoffs.
