Rashid Khan Arman, commonly known as Rashid Khan is an Afghanistan cricketer and current vice captain of the national team. Rashid Khan is currently a member of Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL 2020 team.

Youngest cricketer: 

Rashid Khan, made a history by representing Afghanistan in T20 international just at the age of 17. He was the youngest cricketer ever to play for Afghanistan in T20 cricket.

Highest wicket-taker in the ICC U-19 World Cup:

Rashid was the highest wicket taker for his country in the U-19 at the 50 over World Cup in 2016. Rashid Khan took 10 wickets in 6 matches in that tournament. He was joint highest with Navin-ul-Haq and Karim Janat.

Played for U-19 as well as in the 2016 World Cup: 

Rashid played for Afganistan team in the U-19 World Cup held in Bangladesh and he also played for the senior side in the ICC T20 World Cup for his national squad, held in India. Rashid Khan is among those few players who have achieved this.

ODI debut at the age of 17:

Rashid Khan making his first ODI debut at the age of 17, became the youngest player to do so and just seven days before the ODI he made his T20 international debut.

One of the two Afghanistan players to get an IPL contract: 

Rashid Khan made a history, when he was picked by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at an amount of Rs 4 crore. Rashid Khan is going to play alongside with David Warner. Rashid will get an opportunity to bowl at his favourite player Virat Kohli in the upcoming IPL 2020.
