Mumbai Indians won the toss and opted to bat first against Rajasthan Royals. Quinton de Kock who is in great form was dismissed early by Jofra Archer. Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav formed a partnership and led the team to a good total before getting dismissed. Kieron Pollard’s wicket came as a shock as he was bowled out by Shreyas Gopal on just 6 runs. Jofra Archer and Shreyas Gopal both took 2 wickets for Rajasthan Royals.

Even though both in form batsman of MI went out for a small number, Saurabh Tiwary and Hardik Pandya’s quick inning helped MI reach a good score which will be difficult to be chased by RR. Even though Rohit Sharma wasn’t part of the playing 11, the side managed to score a big total. Rajasthan Royals have been set to chase a total of 195 runs to win the game.
