Chennai Super Kings won the toss and opted to bowl first against Kolkata Knight Riders. Although CSK is out of the playoffs race they might be able to spoil KKR’s chances. It is a very important match for KKR to win and they would not want to make a mistake Nitish Rana has been in great form from the last match and he brought that form in this game as well. He started off pretty well and scored 85 runs before being dismissed. The middle-order did no score a lot of runs and Gill was also dismissed for just 26 runs.

Chennai Super Kings were not able to restrict KKR and they went on to score a good total to defend. Ravindra Jadeja was economical for CSK and also picked up a wicket. Lungi Ngidi who was picked for the match also did not disappoint as he picked 2 wickets. CSK are all set to chase 172 runs in 20 overs.
