Rajasthan Royals fielding coach Dishant Yagnik is all set to rejoin the team is UAE after testing negative for COVID-19 and spending 14 days quarantine period.
Dishant Yagnik is a former wicket-keeper, batsman and had tested positive for COVID-19, few weeks ago. Dishant stayed back in Indian after testing positive, while all the other team and support staff members travelled to UAE.
As per the BCCI protocols for those related to COVID-19, Dishant Yagnik had to be in quarantine for two weeks upon testing positive. After, which he needed to take two tests that showed negative for the virus and a fitness test before he could set to join the team.
Dishant Yagnik will be tested once again at the UAE airport and will also undergo three more tests while he self isolates at the hotel.
Rajashthan Royals conducted their first training session and began their preparation for the upcoming 13th edition of the IPL.
The 2020 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to begin on September 19, although the schedule is yet to announce.
