The potential T20 captain for team India – Hardik Pandya will be leading his side Gujarat Titans as CSK heroes enter the soil of Ahmedabad for the season opener.
While Hardik and company will be aiming at defending the championship trophy, veteran player MS Dhoni will surely look for a comeback after a tough season for CSK last year.
The team came together on Thursday for an occasion called “An Evening with Chennai Super Kings.” Dhoni greeted newcomers including Ajinkya Rahane, Shaik Rasheed, Ajay Mindal, Nishant Sindhu, and 16.25 crore signing Ben Stokes during the gathering. The yellow uniforms for the new athletes were distributed.
“I would like to welcome all the new players. Ben, I know you are not new, but you are new for CSK so please, I request you to come on stage,” Dhoni said.
