Gujarat Titans led by Shubman Gill will play their first match against Punjab Kings on 25 March at their home-ground Narendra Modi Stadium. Titans who failed to qualify in 2024 season will try to improve their performance with a completely different squad.
Ahead of the mega-auctions, the likes of David Miller, Mohammed Shami, Matthew Wade, Noor Ahmed, Azmatullah Omarzai were released. Players like Jos Buttler, Mohammed Siraj, Glenn Phillips are now part of the squad making the side stronger.

Gujarat Titans strengths:
Jos Buttler who earlier played for Rajasthan Royals, will be a key asset to the Gujarat side. His ability to score runs at a fast pace from the start of the innings will help the team. Shubman Gill, Sudarshan and Phillips will further help stabilize the innings in the middle overs.
In the bowling department, Rashid Khan, Washington Sundar and Rahul Tewatia will take care of the middle overs. While Protean fast bowler Kagiso Rabada will take charge of the powerplay and the death overs. Coaches Gary Kirsten and Ashish Nehra will continue as coaches for this season as well.
