The Lucknow Super Giants, who are currently at the bottom of the table, are having a hard time keeping the consistency of players on the team. They have another blow as all-rounder David Willey takes an exit from the tournament amid personal reasons. The English all-rounder is being replaced by New Zealand pacer Matt Henry, who will play a pivotal role in LSG’s today’s game against the Punjab Kings.

Lucknow lost their first game against the Rajasthan Royals. The team fell short by 20 runs despite skipper KL Rahul’s (58) and Nicholas Pooran’s (64*) efforts. Sanju Samson, the opposing skipper, was given the player of the match for his destructive innings of 82, not out of just 52 balls. RR has also managed to celebrate two back-to-back wins.

Lucknow will face Punjab today, which has one game out of two, while LSG will be looking to register their first win.
