The recent media reports have suggested that the BCCI is playing send a fresh squad of youngsters consisting of the likes of Tilak Varma while resting the big caps, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, and Jasprit Bumrah. The intent to send the fresh squad is being considered to prepare the team for the T20 World Cup scheduled in Australia in the same year. After the Indian team suffered a crushing knockout from the previous T20 world cup in UAE by Pakistan and New Zealand, the Indian team is hopeful to fancy their chances of winning the world cup in Australia but the fresh media reports, according to the fans, is yet another blunder.
According to the sources, the likes of Tilak Varma, Umran Malik, and Arshdeep Singh, are on the verge of making it to the list of youngsters to play South Africa in a T20 series in India. The players have performed decently for their IPL side and their performances are largely backed by their IPL records, but Rahul Tripathi who owns a tremendous IPL record is yet to make his chance count. The player has been performing consistently in all the leagues but has been ignored by the selectors. The fans didn’t hold on to their patience and fumed at the speculated selection of Tilak Varma over Rahul Tripathi.
