MS Dhoni, the former India skipper has not hit a single competitive game since the previous year’s World Cup semifinal against New Zealand. His sabbatical from cricket is all set to end as he makes a return for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL 2020.

He was intended to get back on the field earlier this year in March during the scheduled IPL but things extended and got postponed due to the pandemic. Before the lockdown, Dhoni was a regular visitor to the JSCA complex for training. Now due to the pandemic situation, he practiced at the indoor facility using a bowling machine.

Post the IPL Governing Council announced that the match will be held in the UAE from September 19 to November 19, the fans and followers are waiting to see him back in action. Their excitement and cheer for the cricketer are noticeable across social media platforms.
