India’s Women Cricket team’s supporting staff contains former Indian opener S.S Das the batting coach and head coach Ramesh Powar who mainly focus on the Bowling department, who have retained their positions.

The team was surprised when he did not enter the bio-bubble in Banglore before the Australia tour and is all set to be replaced along with trainer Naresh Ramdas. It was surprising for the players as he is also among the supporting staff in the National Cricket Academy.

“Earlier also, we used to make a lot of effort but the little adjustments that Abhay sir has done with our fielding, the individual sessions that he has taken with the players that has helped. The most important point is that he judged every player where can do better fielding, so we are getting the results day by day from the effort that we have put in, which is a great positive,” Harmanpreet mentioned last month as per Indianexpress.

His work can be easily seen in the performance and exceptional fielding standards have been set even in the Women’s cricket camp. Abhay Sharma could be assigned to work with the junior team as he also travelled with the U-19 squad against South Africa in the previous edition.

“The names of new fielding coach and trainer will be approved shortly,” a BCCI official said as per PTI.
