India v Australia: BCCI confirms venue for the third Test; shifted to Indore from Dharamshala

India and Australia will play the third Test match at Indore instead of Dharamshala.

Indian cricket team is currently leading the Test series by 1-0 after they won the Nagpur Test in just three days. Ahead of the second Test match between the two, the venue for the third one is changed. BCCI confirmed the venue on 13th February, Monday.

The venue for the third Test match between India and Australia has been changed from Dharamshala to Indore. This change has been made due to the unexpected change in weather conditions in Dharamshala, which could have affected the quality of the playing surface. Due to this the stadium is under construction.

The decision to shift the venue to Indore was taken after consultation between the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the two participating teams. Indore’s Holkar Cricket Stadium has been selected as the new venue for the match, and it is expected to provide an ideal setting for the game.

The change of venue is a minor setback for the Dharamshala Cricket Association and its fans, who were looking forward to witnessing the match live at their home ground. However, the safety and well-being of the players and ensuring the best possible playing conditions for the match have been the top priority in this decision.

The shift of the venue from Dharamshala to Indore for the third Test match between India and Australia is expected to provide the best possible setting.
