Shikhar Dhawan, the captain of Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL), recently posted three pictures from his practice session. Although he didn’t disclose the specific location, it appears that he has been honing his skills at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru.
Dhawan has been out of the international cricket scene for Team India since the beginning of 2023. He was omitted from the Test and T20I squads earlier, and subsequently, the selectors also left him out of the ODI squad following the series against Bangladesh.
Despite the setbacks, Dhawan remains determined to make a comeback to the national team and has been putting in rigorous efforts during his training sessions. Sharing his dedication on Instagram, he uploaded three photos from his practice and captioned them, “Embracing the grind, perfecting my craft.”
