Team India managed to put up a tough total of 162 runs with Deepak Hooda and Axar Patel ending up a dominating partnership without getting out.
In the last over of the 1st innings, India’s dominating performer Deepak Hooda was seen in frustration as the Wankhede Stadium surely heard his loud roar and also witnessed his punch on the ground.
The reason behind Deepak Hooda’s frustration was a full offside delivery which concluded to a dot ball, and the poor shot selection by Hooda caused him to react such aggressively.
Earlier in the game, Deepak Hooda was seen complaining to umpire for a wide ball as Hooda made umpire believe that he left the delivery while umpires, according to the new rules, declared it a wide ball.
Deepak Hooda and Axar Patel carried the Indian innings to 162 runs, giving the visitors a tough target in the 1st T20I.
