The demand for the upcoming India vs South Africa ODI series has skyrocketed, with premium seats on third-party platforms now being listed for more than Rs 40,000. With Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli returning to India’s ODI squad, fan interest has intensified sharply ahead of the three-match series starting November 30, 2025.

Screenshots from resale platforms show corporate box tickets priced as high as Rs 43,036, while lower-tier seats are being listed between Rs 5,800 and Rs 6,700. With only a handful of tickets remaining in select categories, the surge reflects expected full-house turnouts across Ranchi, Raipur and Visakhapatnam.

The premium-category listings also include VIP lounge access, unlimited food and beverages, and VIP parking — adding to the high pricing momentum. Regular aisle seats, which originally sell for a fraction of these amounts, are witnessing 2–3x mark-ups due to soaring demand and limited availability.

India vs South Africa ODI Series: Big names return

India will welcome back Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, both returning to the ODI setup for the first time since their break. With Shubman Gill ruled out due to a neck injury, KL Rahul will captain the side. South Africa, meanwhile, will see Temba Bavuma return to lead the ODI squad.

The series is crucial for India as they look to bounce back after the Test whitewash earlier in the tour, especially after defeating South Africa in the dramatic ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2025 final.
