The International Cricket Council said in an official release that India have been fined due to a slower run-rate in the 2nd T20 at the Motera. “India have been fined 20 per cent of their match fees for maintaining a slow over-rate against England in the second T20I in Ahmedabad on Sunday,” said ICC. India fell one over short within the stipulated time. India have been fined 20 per cent of their match fees. Indian skipper Virat Kohli accepted the offence and the proposed sanction.
