IND vs ENG: England lost 4 wickets before lunch, a total of 8 dismissals in the first session of Day 2

The ongoing second Test match between Indian and England seems to be in the group of the hosts on Day 2. The hosts started the play of the day with 300-6 and only able to add 29 more runs to the score. All the four wickets down in just a span of 10 overs. Despite soft dismissals from one side Rishabh Pant played a crucial knock and went back to the pavilion without losing his wicket till the end. He scored 58-runs in just 77 balls with 7 boundaries and 3 sixes and remains not out.

The visitors started their inning with early dismissal in the match, when Rory Burns get trapped by pacer Ishant Sharma. The Indian bowlers did a fabulous job at the very start of the day. With the help of the pitch, spinners Ashwin and Axar Patel shown their strong side to the visitors. Ashwin picked two wickets while Axar Patel dismissed the in-form player Joe Root in just 6 runs.

The pitch has provided so many turns that not a single player could able to cross 20 runs mark on Day 2 till now, except Rishabh Pant. The total fall of wickets in the first session is an example of the pitch condition. Total 8 players lost their wicket in the first session of the second day of the match.
