On Thursday, The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed that all-rounder Axar Patel has recovered from knee-injury and he will be up for the second Test in Chennai. Shahbaz Nadeem and Rahul Chahar who were added as the replacements for Patel are now withdrawn.
Earlier today BCCI posted a video on their social media where Patel was seen in the nets bowling to Indian captain Virat Kohli. The hosts will try to level the match by winning the second Test at MA Chidambaram Stadium.

There will be 50% crowd for the second Test starting on February 13.
