Since then, among other injuries, the Indian team hasn’t started with Shreyas Iyer. Iyer has not been included in the starting 11 since January 17th. Iyer will miss the first 11 games due to a back injury, according to a statement released by the BCCI on January 17. Iyer would be joining the National Cricket Academy, the organisation added ( NCA ).
