In the ongoing 2nd Test match between India and Australia, Virat Kohli was given a controversial decision.

The Australian players appealed for an LBW, and umpire Nitin Menon motioned his finger for an out. Because Virat Kohli was certain that he had struck an edge, he immediately took the DRS.

Determining whether the ball hit the bat or the pad first required a lot of time from the third umpire. Ultimately, it was determined that the pad had made contact with the ball before the bat , which was a contentious decision given that the edge was readily apparent.

The umpire’s decision in the LBW ball tracking forced Kohli to return to the pavilion because the on-field umpires called an out. Virat walked back to the pavilion after the umpires disregarded the obvious proof of the bat hitting the ball. Kohli was seen reviewing the umpire’s ruling in the dressing room and expressing his disappointment over the “umpire’s error.”
