Mumbai Indians have had a great season this year and that was visible as they retained the trophy. One of their main performing assets included Suryakumar Yadav. With a blistering season, the last thing he expected was to not get picked in the Indian squad for the Australian tour.
While many players spoke in his support and believed that he should have been picked, the batsman felt quite similarly. He believed taht their team slogan “creating history” helped them win and in an even year. He also spoke about his favourite innings against Royal Challengers Bangalore where he scored 79 runs in 43 balls.
His famous banter with Virat Kohli caught a lot of attention and he spoke about it as well. He told that it was an important game for both the teams and Virat being an aggressive player did what he had to and it was all in th game.
Yadav was expecting to be called for the Indian tour and mentioned that he couldn’t train the day the list came out. He also told skipper Rohit Sharma about how disappointed he was. The MI batsman said that he going to train harder and score some more big runs so he cannot be avoided the next time.
