Indian cricket team will be up against Sri Lanka in the first T20I on Tuesday, 3rd January at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Hardik Pandya will lead the side after becoming the full-time vice-captain of team India.
Pandya is looking forward to the game as he said in the pre-match press conference which happened on Monday, 2nd January. India are back to home after winning the two-match Test series against Bangladesh. Bangladesh however defeated India in the ODI series.
India will be playing three-match T20I series and three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. As skipper Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli isn’t available for this series, some young ones can be seen playing the game at Wankhede Stadium.
