The last instance India and South Africa met was in a three-match T20I series in September of 2019.

So far in the history of the T20I, the India vs South Africa series hasn’t ended in a draw despite playing 15 Twenty20 Internationals together. If the series, which begins on June 9th, ends in a tie, it will be the first time.

A five-match home T20I series against South Africa will kick off India’s preparation for the upcoming  Men’s T20 World Cup this year.
