After the ODI match between India and the West Indies in 2019, international cricket will return to the Barabati Stadium, Cuttack, on June 12 (Sunday). Before the second T20I against South Africa, Team India had a training session at the stadium. The gathering in the photos released by BCCI on their official Twitter account appeared like it was a match day, with the stadium filled of spectators.
Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Shreyas Iyer, and Umran Malik were captured during their training session with the spectators packed behind them, according to the BCCI.
The official Twitter page of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared photos from the training session on social media, tweeting, “Match day feels on a non-match day. A packed stadium here in Cuttack to watch TeamIndia train.”
India will be trying to rebound after a devastating 7-wicket loss in the first T20. Even though the Indian batsmen did well to score 211/4, the bowling failed miserably.
