Indian cricket team are up against New Zealand in the third and the last ODI of the series in Ahmedabad. The match is currently ongoing at Narendra Modi Stadium. India scored a mammoth of 234 runs in their first innings. It was one of the best performances from the host in the T20Is.
Indian opener Shubman Gill who is in amazing run of form scored a massive hundred in the game and it was also his maiden T20I hundred. Shubman Gill broke Virat Kohli’s record of recording highest score for India in a single game. Shubman scored 126* runs off 63 balls.
His innings was perfect from the start till the end. Former Indian captain Virat Kohli had an earlier record of scoring highest score in T20Is (122 runs) but now Shubman has overtaken him and tops this list.
