The 26-year-old Mohammad Siraj became the highest wicket-taker in the recent Border-Gavaskar series. Just after the series Ravi Shastri tweeted to praise Siraj’s stellar performance: “Discover of the tour for shoring up the bowling assault the way in which he did – Mohd Siraj.”

Siraj shared the tour Down Under with the likes of Mohd Shami, Umesh Yadav and Jasprit Bumrah. Siraj made his debut after Shami was ruled out of the series after sustaining a wrist injury.

From sharing dressing rooms to internet classes, I discovered so much from the seniors like Pujara, Ajji bhaia (Ajinkya Rahane), Shami bhai, Rohit bhaia and coach Ravi sir. I need to use that information now in opposition to England,” Siraj told.

For the Test series against England, Ishant Sharma is making his way back after recovering from an injury.
