Smriti Mandhana became the second cricketer after Ellyse Perry to win the Rachael Heyhoe Flint the second time. After 2018, Mandhana has once again been awarded the “ICC Women’s Cricketer of the Year” Trophy. Smriti had a wonderful year, scoring 855 runs in 22 international games. The year 2021 also held a special memory for her as she scored her maiden Test century in Indian women’s first-ever pink-ball Test game. She also scored some half-centuries across all the formats throughout the year.

Lee became the first South African to win the “ICC Women’s ODI Cricketer of the Year” . Lee scored a total of 632 runs with a stunning average of 90.28. Her 632 runs included one brilliant century while five stunning half-centuries. Lee recorded her highest score in ODIs as she knocked 132 runs against India in Lucknow.

Tammy Beaumont was awarded the “ICC Women T20I Cricketer of the Year” Trophy for the year 2021 as Tammy was the first from the England Women’s team to have received this award. Before Tammy, Sarah Taylor has been honoured by this award in 2012 and 2013 respectively. Tammy scored 303 runs in all the nine innings she played with an average of 33.36, which included three fifties. Tammy also became England’s highest run-scorer in Women’s T20I in the year, being the third-best in the world.

The 20-year old young woman from Pakistan – Fatima Sana was named the “ICC Emerging Cricketer of the Year” for 2021 as the young all-rounder from Pakistan have successfully bagged 24 wickets while scoring 165 runs in 16 international matches.

Andrea-Mae Zepeda from Australia was awarded the “ICC Women’s Associate Cricketer of the Year” Trophy for the year 2021.
