The International Cricket Council (ICC) has confirmed the match officials for the highly anticipated ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final between India and New Zealand, set to take place at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium (DICS) on March 9.

Experience Behind the Umpiring Panel
Among the umpires officiating in the final, Richard Illingworth previously stood in the India vs Australia semifinal in Dubai, while Paul Reiffel officiated the South Africa vs New Zealand semifinal in Lahore.
Illingworth is one of the most respected umpires in world cricket, having won the ICC Umpire of the Year award four times. He also officiated in both the ODI World Cup 2023 Final and T20 World Cup 2024 Final.
Meanwhile, Kumar Dharmasena and Joel Wilson, who were part of the South Africa vs New Zealand semifinal, will continue their roles in the final. Dharmasena was the on-field umpire, while Wilson served as the third umpire, a role he will retain for the final as well.
